Pastor Patricia Abell
Patricia Abell brings gifts for teaching, preaching, worship, music, and pastoral care to the congregational setting. Before transitioning to pastoral ministry, she enjoyed serving in public education as a teacher, coach, and in administrative roles in middle & high schools. While appointed to serve two faithful congregations in 2011, Pastor Pat completed the Masters of Divinity from Wesley Theological Seminary in 2013. Pat is tended to by two Chihuahua pups, Zachary (age 11) and Ivy Rose (age 5), who keep her grounded, moving, and humble.
Pastor Pat shares: ‘Though experiencing a tug of God’s call at a young age, I didn’t surrender to God’s call until 2003. Since that time I have committed myself to using the gifts for listening, teaching, preaching, and music in acts of praise, worship, and connecting with people to serve the church and the broader faith community. As I live out my calling, I am attentive to the Divine Light which abides within me and in each person I encounter as I share faith, offer prayer, and bring a word of hope each day.
I am very excited to serve a welcoming community of faith that strives to live out the mission and ministry of Jesus Christ, sharing God’s love with the community & the world so that we might all be transformed by God’s love. I am honored to walk with you.’
